Hi folks :) This year I hope to try and keep pace with my artwork around other things. There are plenty of projects I'd like to finish but I'll try to keep a good balance between my animal artworks, portraits and fan arts.. As always, I thank each and every one of my followers for their continuing support, kind words and comments, funny messages and e-mails and for sharing their art too. Here's to a great year. All the best TK-1308 :)

Hi everyone :)

Hope you're all doing well and coping with the summer heat. I know some folks like it but it's not for me. However, one good thing about the summer is that I get to celebrate a special anniversary and as a bit of fun I'm going to share part of that celebration with my watchers. This year I'm going to host a free draw for my watchers who've supported me in 2022 by giving one of you a free art commission. Yep, you read that right, a free commission. You're all familiar enough with my gallery to know what sort of work I do and one of you will get to choose what you want me to do for your project. Please bare in mind that I will not do any of the following: anime characters or anything anime in general, fetish art or MLP art. However, knowing that a lot of my watchers are also Disney fans, as much as I don't like the style, I will allow it for this draw :) So, how do you enter this competition? Well it's really easy. You have to be a current watcher who has supported me in 2022 and been a watcher for at least a month. All you have to do is reply in the comments below that you want to be a part of this. I will assign a number to each person as they comment and add it to this journal. If you just comment with 'thanks' or 'thanks for the mention', I'll assume you haven't read the journal as it won't appear in your DA feed, and don't want to be entered. That's it. I will tag everyone I can in the comments to let you know this is happening and give you the chance to take part. No worries if you don't - better odds for those who do :) Some of you can't be tagged because of your settings and that's cool too. Hopefully you'll find this anyway. At the end of August I will use a random number generator to select the winner and they get their free commission. You will get a digital copy immediately and the actual physical artwork will be posted to you as well. Take care All the best TK-1308 :) Current Entrant list for the draw is as follows... 1) 1Missy

Hi everyone :) Well, after publishing part 1 of my 'Ask Me Anything' last month, here's the rest of the questions that were asked. The watchers competition for a free art commission will run in August and I will update you all on that on 01/08 with a new journal. So, without any further ado whatsoever, let's go. The personal questions Given your love of Star Wars and the numerous art projects dedicated to your wife, did you have a Star Wars themed wedding? Lol :D No we didn't. In fact, I was happy to leave that out of the wedding completely but she thought that it would be a great idea to have the Mos Eisley Cantina Band on the cake. So, I went and sourced a new set of Figrin D'an and the Modal Notes, customised a couple of figures for the two of us on the top, and that was it. Of course, everyone thought that it was my idea and even when I said she was the one who came up with it, they still thought it was me. Score one for her :D

13 Cake

Who has been the biggest influence in your life? That's a tricky question as there have been more than one. My parents, obviously. My wife, who is unwavering in her love and support. My martial arts mentor was an amazing woman too. Some of my dearest friends have shaped my life in more ways than one. Let's not forget Miss Ellison, my art teacher.

What's your name? I have no desire to put that in an online forum, thanks. Most folks just call me Starfire or TK-1308 and that's just fine :) Who is your favourite Transformer? Lol. Well as of this date I have 986 Transformers in my collection but narrowing down to a single favourite is not easy. I guess you mean character rather than an actual figure. My favourite Autobot is Jazz because let's face it, nobody's cooler than Jazz. It was also the first Autobot I got as a kid. And yes, I still have that G1 toy! My favourite Decepticon is Soundwave as he had an awesome voice and I loved the eject and deploy function for his cassette minions.

14 Jazz and Soundwave

If you had a chance to travel in the TARDIS with The Doctor, would you? And if yes, which Doctor? Hell yeah! A chance to explore all of time and space - who wouldn't? As for which incarnation of the timelord, that would be a tough call between the 4th and the 7th but I'd be happy with either. If you could meet any actor, singer or writer, who would they be? Well, as I work at a lot of conventions I get to meet a lot of actors anyway so that's not so difficult. I think my favourite person that I met was Amanda Tapping. She was so nice and she's such a sci-fi nerd too. When I went for my photo with her, still in my TK armour, she just grinned and said "Oh my God, that's f**king awesome!". I love that photo too! :) While a couple of us we're outside Earl's Court with lids off to take a quick break in our TKs, Sean Pertwee came out for a cigarette and wanted his picture taken with us so he could send it to his family - so we got to place Sean under imperial arrest :D Singer is a tough call as the ones I'd want to meet are David Bowie and Freddie Mercury. Not a fan of modern music. Writer is also tough as there's several I'd like to meet like Timothy Zahn, Michael Stackpole, Peter David, Jack McDevitt to name a few. Now, if I had access to that TARDIS I could meet all my heroes! That said, sometimes meeting them in person isn't as exciting as you think.

What's your favourite food? I have a terrible sweet tooth so I'd have to say chocolate!

15 Chocolate

Are you a gamer and what's your favourite game? I'm not a gamer in the modern sense. The last game I was really in to was Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds on my PC. It was designed around the same engine that ran the Command And Conquer series. Great fun and a way for a Star Wars nerd to chill out and make sure the Empire won. Hoth was a slaughter when I did that mission :D I haven't played a computer game since 2008 when I upgraded to Enterprise N.C.C.-1701. N.C.C.-1701 was decommissioned the other year and I now have Enterprise N.C.C.-1701-A :)

If you could be a superhero, what would your super power be? Well, the super hero life is fraught with danger and world ending events every week for those main characters. As a superhero I'd rather stay behind the scenes, you know, kind of second or third tier hero. As someone who has always worked in the medical professions I guess I'd like the ability to heal any wound or illness in anyone, including myself. I'll leave the 'big bads' to the likes of the X-Men and the Avengers :)

The art questions Do you get artist's block and how do you deal with it?

Yes, I do get artist's block from time to time. I think we all do. If it strikes it's usually because I'm tired, in pain, stressed or too busy thinking about something else and I can't concentrate properly - which for a realism artist can be a nightmare. So if I can't draw, I write. Usually losing myself in my novels gives me a shift in focus and I can clear my mind to deal with that and then go back to my art. It's the same with writer's block. When that strikes I will just sketch things from my book until my brain has sorted itself out. Sometimes though, I can't concentrate on art or writing at all, and that's just not fair! In that case I will get out one of my UCS Lego kits and just build. It's one of the best ways to de-stress and clear my head. Whatever works, right? :)

16 Lego UCS Y-Wing

What's your average time to complete a piece of work? That really depends on what I'm doing and how complex the picture is going to be. When I started with the polychromos, most of them would be between 80 and 130 hours as I was still learning how to work with them.

Over the last 12 years I've learned new techniques and got so used to them it's made things a lot easier. If it's animated style artworks then they're anything from 2-15 hours. Realism projects can take anything from 20 - 60 hours depending on what I'm doing and how detailed I want to go. If I really go into depth on everything in a project it could be between 70 and 80 hours.

What's your main reason for doing art? To be honest, fun :) I enjoy losing myself in art and spending hours on it. It's also a good way to unwind from work, which for me can have some really stressful days.

The whole commission side just happened but that's lots of fun too!

Is there anything you do to reduce the time spent on artwork? I have one time saver, especially when doing animal artwork, and that's the soft focus background. One of my favourite examples is 'Millennial Falcon' :)

Millennial Falcon

It's a good technique to use because it really highlights your subject and brings it into very clear focus. By blurring away the trees into colour blobs and random shaped shaded areas it adds depth and a colourful backdrop that doesn't need all those details as they would detract from the subject but suggests to the viewer what's there. I guess that everyone would see the background slightly differently depending on where their focus is when looking at it. Which do you think is better: traditional or digital art? Why does one have to be better than the other? That's like the old chestnut Star Wars OR Star Trek :D As a traditional artist that's where my eye is drawn first as I love to see traditional works in any medium. However, there are amazing digital artists out there as well who do some beautiful work too. The artist I work with for my character projects and book covers for one. She has an amazing style which is reminiscent of those classic 80's fantasy novel covers with a modern twist. Both types require learning, time, patience and skill and you have to work hard to get the results you want. Sure there are plenty of short cuts with digital art and you can undo a mistake so easily but you've still got to learn to use the tools at your disposal. Art for me is more about what you see and feel when you look at it more than whether it's traditional or digital. Well, that's how it works for me anyway.

Do you ever get people who complain or try to haggle with your commission prices? Not really. To be honest, I won't work with clients like that. Commissions should be a completely collaborative process between the artist and the client. It makes for the best experience. When one side sets too many conditions it doesn't make for a good connection between both parties :) When someone asks for a project I get them to tell me exactly what they want before we start. It then depends of level of detail (cartoon or realism), the number of subjects involved and the background. I then give them a price based on the time it's going to take me to complete it. My regular clients will often refer friends or colleagues if I have any space free. While some say they will have to save up, about 90% come back a few months later and order their commission. The others will have looked around to find someone cheaper and that's fine. Art is a luxury good after all - we don't need it for our survival. Every now and then you get a muppet who spells out what they want and then tells you how much they're going to pay. Someone once asked if I could do 4 OCs drinking outside a tavern in the rain saying: "I can stretch my budget to $20." I remember laughing out loud as I read that, so I sent back. "For $20 I suggest you buy some pencils and do it yourself." :D Is there any artwork that you did years ago that was great at the time and you're still kind of proud of now? Admit it, you have some! :D I have lots of art from my childhood and teenage years and it's nice to look back and see where you came from as an artist. Sure, there are the cringeworthy pieces too but that's all part of the learning experience. All artists grow over time :) There are some projects from the 90's that I still enjoy for different reasons. Where No Man Has Gone Before was an ink dot image which was from a small picture in a Star Trek fanzine which I drew in A4 size and it came out really well. I'm glad that it nicely captured the look of the characters. I think I got the right level of godly arrogance in Michell and for those who know my gallery, Kirk was done in my usual realism style for 'K' in my Alphabet Challenge a few years ago.

17 Where No Man Has Gone Before

This was one of the creatures from the X-Men: Books Of Askani and again, I did a bigger version on A4. I loved all the detailing in it and it was just screaming to be drawn. I did this one during my lunch breaks at work, doing a little every day for 2 weeks.

18 Books Of Askani

This is a rare colour pencil image I did 25 years ago. I just didn't do colour back then but occasionally I gave it a try. This was a picture of a statue my martial arts mentor had in her home and I was fascinated by it. I think it was the 'Princess Of The Iris' or something like that. Anyway, I just wanted to draw the statue and here it is.

19 Princess Of The Iris Blossoms

I was wondering do you listen to music, watch TV/a movie distractedly or need silence, or something else I haven't thought about, when drawing? I always listen to music when both drawing and writing because it helps my process. However, my music library is composed of soundtracks and I have thousands in my archive. Sure, I have some classic rock albums in there but I'm not a fan of most music, especially modern stuff. I don't have the TV or a movie on in the background as that's a little too distracting. That said, while listening to soundtracks I can often just quote all the dialogue that goes along with it. My memory just stores stuff like that. When doing artwork, I have playlists which are themed and I select the right one for whatever I'm doing at the time. When doing fan arts I just put on the appropriate score and away we go. I do need chocolate, otherwise known as Artist Fuel, when I'm working as well :)

Do you ever have problems finishing a piece of art? Nope. Sometimes I can say I lose the enthusiasm for a project at the time and that's usually because I'm either stressed, tired or in pain. In which case I will put it aside and come back to it when I feel ready. Although most of my works are completed straight through or over a few days, there have been a couple that I have put aside and then come back to months later and then finished.

What's your set-up for doing art? Do you have a dedicated space to work or can you work anywhere? I do all my main art at my desk in my study. It's one of those places where I feel comfortable and the environment is very much a part of me. As the saying goes, I have a place for everything and everything is in its place. I can relax there and give 100% of me to whatever I'm working on, art or writing. I will occasionally take a sketch pad when I go somewhere in case the need hits me. Here's some pics of my space :) This is the view you get from the door. You can just hear Homer Simpson shout "Neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrddd!" :D

20 The Study 01

From the corner to the right of the shelves in the first picture you get this. The wall on the right has the six covers for my books and a little Labyrinth art.

22 The Study 03

Looking back at the displays. I change them monthly and pick something from my collection to put out for fun.

23 The Study 04

This is my workstation where it all happens. Yeah, it's one of my favourite places :) There are two character portraits from my book just above the desk which are currently the artist I work with and my wife.

24 Workstation 01

Finally, looking up from my desk you have some of my artworks which I printed into 11x14" posters. I change those every now and then. The key thing here is my art calendar. I make a new one every year and this is my ultimate reference tool so I can keep track of everything. Although I remember all of it anyway, sometimes I can get side-tracked with other things and this always helps to remind me of what's coming up :)

25 Workstation 02

Well, that's it for the Ask Me Anything and if you've made it this far without dozing off, well done you! :) A big thank you for everyone who sent in questions. It was fun to think about how I was going to answer some of them and to be able to share some fun things too. As always, thank you to all my watchers and supporters, everyone who just stopped by to fave some of my work and to those who love to send funny messages. It always brightens my day. Take care and stay frosty TK-1308 :) P.S. Maybe The Doctor needs a different kind of Companion on his adventures. Well, I couldn't resist when I saw it and he didn't seem to mind. And yes, it's smaller on the outside :D

Hi everyone :) I hope this journal entry finds you all well and enjoying your weekend. Last month I reached a little milestone in my corner of the art world with 100K page views and I said that I would think of an appropriate giveaway and do a little 'Ask Me Anything' piece to cover the questions that I get asked. Now, the giveaway will take place for my active watchers in August and it will be a free art commission for one lucky winner. Watch this space..... Below you'll find a selection of the questions that were sent my way. Tried my best to keep it fun and answer a good mix and I'll save the rest for part 2. Enjoy :) The personal questions How old are you? Old enough to know that we don't stop playing because we get older, we get older because we stop playing.

You do a lot of colourful 80's cartoon work - what was your favourite 80's cartoon?

There are a fair few from the 80's that I loved and I have them all on DVD in my archive. If I had to narrow it down to just one, as much as I enjoy the others it would have to be The Centurions. Power X-Treme!

The Centurions: Max Ray And Cruiser

Your icon picture is a Stormtrooper and you sign off as TK-1308. Is that really you? Yes, that's me: Trooper TK-1308. The armour was a wedding gift from my wife and just one of many pieces of kit we have in our convention wardrobe. The Stormtrooper is probably my favourite to wear at events as you get such a great reaction from the public.

01 Iron Man and TK

What sci-fi franchise would you most like to live in as an artist? Damn, that's a tough call because I love so many of them. Of course most people think of the big two, Star Trek and Star Wars but there's also Adventures Of The Galaxy Rangers, Alien Nation, Captain Scarlet, Defiance, Doctor Who, Farscape, Firefly, Sanctuary, Space Above And Beyond, The Centurions, The Orville, Transformers etc etc etc. Yeah, my archive has over 1700 dvds in it!

02 Archive 01

So as myself living in one of these franchises I think I would go for classic Star Trek. Given the fact that I have always worked in the health care sector I could see myself as part of the medical crew of the Enterprise and doing art in my spare time. Plus medics don't wear the red shirts :D If you could go back in time and tell your younger self one thing, what would it be? I'd probably be distracted by the thought that I could buy all my childhood toys mint in box and bring them into the future for my collection :D Yes I know exactly what I'd say but that's between me and me. What's your favourite film / TV show? I have way too many that I love for different reasons. It would be really hard to even just pick one for each genre. Right now I'm enjoying Obi-Wan Kenobi, The Boys, The Orville, The Rookie and Night Sky. I can say my top three films are definitely Labyrinth, Star Wars: A New Hope and Star Trek II: The Wrath Of Khan.

Star Trek II The Wrath Of Khan: Khan Noonien Singh

You've mentioned a few times that you write books? What are they about? Currently I'm writing a 6 book fantasy sci-fi saga and without giving too much away it's about dimensional travel. The concept for this saga was done way back in 1995 and while I did bits here and there, I didn't sit and write it fully until 2018. As I was writing I knew it would have to be a trilogy because there was too much to put in there. While plotting the timeline I then had an idea for the sequel trilogy and so we went to six books. Book one is written, edited and complete, about 50% of books 2 and 3 and parts of books 4, 5 and 6. It's great fun and I really enjoy playing in the worlds created for the saga. It's also fun to get the reactions from my beta reading team. I have written the end to every novel as I love a good cliff-hanger :) What's the most treasured thing in your collection? I have a lot in the archive and love many things for very different reasons, particularly ones tied to specific events and times in my life. For example, I always have my black series Dewback on display. My wife got this for me when I was doing my diploma exams and knowing how much I hate exams, she thought this would make me feel better. Makes me smile every time I look at it

The art questions Also impressed by your ability to track what pencils you use and where. I have a hard time with that. How do you do it? As I work on projects I break things down in my mind into specific parts and work from one to the next. For example when I draw a face the order is always eyes, nose, mouth, ears, face, hair. As I work, my pencils sit to the left of me by my art mugs and I just list them on my computer as I go. When I'm done I have all the pencils used next to me on the desk and notes on my computer for every project. I've always just done it that way.

How many projects would you say you've done as an artist? If I included everything since my childhood- thousands! I honestly have no idea. Online I've posted a few hundred from the last decade but I have old art albums and poster tubes full of old work going back to my teenage years. I think it's fun to keep track of art so I can see where I started and where I am now.

Why do you do a style and medium that no-one is interested in? Lol, I get this one quite a bit :) For some reason people think there's no call for traditional art these days. Admittedly it's not as popular as digital art but us traditional artists are still out there making awesome work.

There's also those people who want the physical object in their hands which adds to the art experience, rather than just another computer downloaded file. I'm the same with books. I don't have a kindle, I own a library. But yes, realism or hyper-realism isn't everyone's cup of tea but for a detail obsessed artist like me it's perfect. That's one of the great things about art, there's something for everyone. We can all find the style that catches our eye and, more importantly, makes us feel something.

What types of art or art styles don't you like / don't appeal to you? All fetish art. If you have a kink, that's fine. I just don't want or need to see it. I've never been a fan of anime / manga style. The big eyed triangle faces look just jars for me as a realism artist. I don't care for MLP on anything. I know some folks love it but it's not for me thanks. Never been a lover of Disney either. Again with the big eyes, inaccurate body proportions and style. Yes, I know I've done a lot of Disney stuff for friends but that's the only way it will happen. If I've done a Disney piece then it's usually for a good friend. But as I said above, we all find the things we enjoy which is cool :) You mention in several pieces that it was done as a commission but you never advertise them. Why not? Well, I work full time and have my own projects to do and books to write so my time for art is quite limited. My commission slots are always offered to my regular customers who've been with me for years and by the time they choose what they want my slots are all used up. People will still ask and if I can fit it in then I'll try but usually I'm booked 12 months in advance. As a traditional artist, where do you store your art? It must take up a lot of room. Well I have poster tubes containing work from my childhood and teenage years and they're stored in my study. My main artwork is stored in two A4 folders on the right end of my desk. This is my current work from 2010 to the present day. You have to remember a lot of my work is gifts so while I take plenty of photos, I don't have the physical piece any more.

I've often wondered if artists commission each other. Have you ever commissioned another artist? Yes I have. I've had the good fortune to work with an amazing digital artist for the last 4 years on projects for my books. She takes my concepts and digitally paints these beautiful covers and character pieces for me. She's an absolute joy to work with and that's how collaborations should be. It's also nice that over this time we've become good friends too :) Have you ever had a bad experience working with another artist? Sadly yes but just the one. Some people are just inherently dishonest and disrespectful but hey, that's life. I always treat such things as a learning experience and even the bad ones in your life can be useful too so I used her as an extremely irritating queen in my first novel :D To borrow a quote from Paul Bettany's brilliant version of Geoffrey Chaucer in 'A Knight's Tale': "I will eviscerate you in fiction. Every last pimple, every last character flaw. I was naked for a day; you will be naked for eternity!" Lol :)

Best and worst advice ever received? Best advice was from my art teacher Miss Ellison at secondary school. She recognised that I was a detail orientated artist and that realism would be my thing so she told me to "Always look for what's not supposed to be there.". She held up a piece of plain A4 paper and asked me what colour it was. I said white. She then got someone else to hold it, sat next to me and asked me again. I said it was still white. She then pointed out all the colours she could see on the paper, tones, light reflections, shadows and told me that it was my brain telling me that it was white A4 paper but I wasn't looking close enough. I have to translate everything I see on to the page. She said that it was all these tiny colours, shapes and little details that made realistic art look so good and I've always done that. Worst advice was when someone told me to learn digital art and catch up with all the mainstream artists because no-one wants traditional art any more. I beg to differ :) Besides, art isn't my job. I do it because I enjoy it and it allows me to unwind from work.

What is your favourite medium to work with / in? Pencils, hands down. It was the first one I tried to do serious art with and it just kind of stuck. I used to use just graphite pencils, did a lot of ink work in the 90's with Techpoint pens, back to pencils and then in 2010 I started with the polychromos and haven't looked back.

What medium would you like to experiment with?

I'm a stick with what you know kind of guy. That said, a couple of years ago I experimented with Touchfives (knock-off copics) and did a few projects with them which was a lot of fun. Sometimes I combined the inks and pencils and I might do some more at some point.

Labyrinth: As Her World Falls Down

How did you develop your style? I've always been fascinated with detail work ever since I was little. My canvases never really ventured beyond A4 because I could fit so much on a small page and it just sort of stayed that way. Beyond that it was just constant practice.

I would often just sketch things I could see and mainly to get the basics for shape, light, tones, shadows and proportions down. One of my often used practice exercises was to draw my left hand. So my current art style is built on everything I've learned since I first picked up a pencil, my excellent art lessons with Miss Ellison and the rest is self-taught through experimentation. I avoided colour for so long because grey scale is a lot easier as there's less to go wrong for the eye to see but colour is a whole different adventure as you have to get it just right. I have to look for those colours that aren't supposed to be there :) When I first started with the polychromos I spend 6 months just playing around with the pencils and seeing what they could do and the effects, colours, tones and mixes I could get with them. Those first projects took soooo long, over 100 hours a time. Then it's just the 3 'P's - practice, practice, practice.

What inspired you to try you hand at realism? As I mentioned above, I've always been fascinated by detailed work. Everyone used to draw cartoons and things like that but I always wanted to be able to draw what I could see. I loved those great pictures you'd get on the covers of Star Wars and Star Trek novels. I forget how many times I drew my Transformers toys as a kid but it was good practice for colour, proportions and details.

What was your best and worst commission experience? The best part is tricky so I'll answer the other bit first ;) The worst was a case of worse for me artistically rather than a bad experience. I had been commissioned to draw a dog. I'd never drawn a dog before so that was scary enough and then it had to be this particular dog, and in colour - triple threat! So it took several attempts to get this portrait looking like this particular dog and it drove me crazy. Unlike graphite, if you make a mistake with polychromos it's game over, you have to start again and you can't just erase the mistake. If any polychromos artist knows of an eraser that will work with these pencils, please tell me! I would be eternally grateful! So, I stuck at it and eventually ended up with this:

Johnny

Thankfully I wasn't told who it was for until after it was done. It was given to one of my favourite sci-fi writers and creators. As for best experience, I don't think I have a favourite because I've enjoyed doing them all for different reasons and knowing they're appreciated is the best thing for an artist. What's your favourite subject / thing to draw? If I had to choose one - animals. They're a realism artist's best friend. All those tiny lines, details, colours, it's heaven :) If I had to narrow that down it would be owls and tigers.

Would you ever try digital art? Never in a million years :D I don't want to relearn something I can do naturally with pencils. I know where I am with those, I know what colours to use, the angle to hold the pencil for the required effect, the pressure to use while working, it's more instinctive for me. Also the idea of using a keyboard, mouse and screen to do art is not my thing. I love the feel of pencils and paper. I also dread to think how long it would take me to learn it all and also the cost of having a computer capable of running all the software you'd need. But to everyone who does, kudos. You make some amazing work! In some of your pictures you have your pet rats. How many do you have? We had 10 in our mischief over several years. We had Dorcas, Tabitha, Aayla, Luminara, Padme, Dorme, Ahsoka, Barriss, Rex and Cody. You can see where we just switched to a certain fandom :)

I Can See You

What advice would you give to someone just starting out? Firstly, find the medium that you like and that you're comfortable with. Whether it's pencils, paint, charcoal, textiles, whatever - explore what you can do and enjoy the ride. Art it supposed to be fun so never make it feel like work.

Do some reading on the fundamentals like form, shape, proportions, colour, tones, shading, light and use that in your projects. Pick a subject that means something to you and start with that. It's easier to practice if you enjoy what you're drawing. When I was a kid I started out with Star Wars! After that we're back to the 3 'P's - practice, practice, practice :) Never tie your self worth into how many likes you get on projects. You're starting your journey so you're still learning and patience will get you there. Yes there are people out there who will like what you do and those who won't. Don't let bad experiences set you back. Learn from them and move on.

Don't manufacture an online personality to showcase your work. Just be yourself. It's better to be honest with your followers instead on manufacturing a fake you in the hope they'll like you more. Too many artists do that these days and believe themselves to be a brand. It's just very hollow and false. At the end of the day, have fun and enjoy your journey. That's it for this 'Ask Me Anything' and thanks to everyone who sent in questions. Apologies to those I didn't put in this one as I had to put plenty aside for another one in the future. Thanks to all my watchers, for everyone who faved my work and those who send funny messages and comments - your support is always appreciated. Part 2 can be found here:
