Card done for my sister who got married yesterday, June 2017
Really wasn't sure what to do but we all have a fondness for animals, especially big cats. So after looking at hundreds of images I wanted one that had an element of 'togetherness' in it and this one seemed perfect, and a little playful, too.
Done with polychromos pencils and built up in layers, utilising my pressure application and layering techniques, the picture consists of 17 colours.
The leopard on the left was done with white, ivory, middle purple pink, dark carmine, dark flesh, walnut brown, siena natur ochre, terracotta, black and warm grey 1.
The leopard on the right was done with white, ivory, walnut brown, cold grey 6, black, warm grey 1 and warm grey 6.
The rocks were done with white, walnut brown, Payne's grey, warm grey 1, warm grey 2, warm grey 3, warm grey 5 and warm grey 6.
Finally, the unfocused background was done with warm grey 2, warm grey 4 and warm grey 5.

Completion time: 27 hours.
